- Élaine Léger specializes in labour, employment and human rights law. She represents companies in all areas of economic activity.
She has developed particular expertise in the areas of managing absenteeism and occupational injuries, as well as in occupation health and safety.
In her practice, she advises her clients on termination of employment, confidentiality obligations, access to medical files, and management of absenteeism and occupational injury files.
She acts before grievance adjudicators, the Commission des relations du travail du Québec (Québec’s labour relations board), and the Commission des lésions professionnelles (employment injury commission). She also pleads before common law courts in regulatory criminal actions.
Moreover, Élaine teaches labour law at the École du Barreau du Québec.
